FAQ's

I haven't received my order/package, OR it says it's been delivered, but I don't have it, what do I do?
Excellent question.  Use your tracking number to track your package and see what stage of delivery it is in.  That gives you the live "real time" info.  If your package says that it's been delivered, but you haven't yet received it, check with you local post office and/or mail carrier for more detailed information. Often times it will be marked delivered when it hasn't been delivered yet.  Or it may have been delivered to a neighbor.  Or it may be held at the post office.  There are really so many possibilities. If it turns out that your package is indeed lost, you will need to file a claim with the shipping company to be reimbursed, and place a new order for your products. 

What makes The Wax Chick Wax Different from any other wax?
WOW!  What a question.  Most importantly, this wax was created by a professional  Esthetician (me) for all beauty professionals.  As an Esthetician I have worked with a lot of different waxes.  Some good, some not.  I wanted something different that I wasn't finding in the market place.   

At The Wax Chick we strive to create our products to provide the best results possible.  We use only the highest grade ingredients.  No additives. No fillers.  We keep our ingredient list to only the bare necessities in order to provide the best and cleanest hair removal results.  Our products are made in small batches to maintain freshness and efficacy and are 100% made in the U.S.A. 

Is the The Wax Chick Line right for me?
Although we LOVE our line, it may not be right for you, and that's ok.  Not everything is for everybody.   Give us a try to find out for yourself if we are a match made in heaven.

What's the difference between Non-Polymer and Polymer Wax? 
The Pina is non-polymer (no plastic) and is a rich creamy, luxurious consistency that works very well on all hair and skin types. Known as "The Green One",  It's 100% organic, biodegradable and compostable.  The Pumpkin  contains polymer (plastic) and has a smooth, spreadable consistency and also works well on all hair/skin types. 

Does wax expire?
Technically there is no expiration date, however, like all wax it is best when used within 12 months of purchase.

What wax warmer do I need?
I've tested several wax warmers with my waxes. Satin Smooth is a reliable choice, as well as equip pro (which I sell on my site).  Gigi and Clean and Easy warmers do NOT work well with these waxes as they run too hot for the low temperature waxes. 

What temperature do I set the wax at?

Our wax doesn't go by a specific temperature setting.  It is a low temperature wax, so what you really want is to get the right consistency.  It should be like a pancake batter that ribbons off the stick.  Check out this tutorial for more info. 

How many Brazilians can you get out of (4LBs) of hard wax?
This depends on how good you are at using hard wax.  If you are new to hard wax, you will use more than you need until you get the hang of it.  Once you have it down, you should be able to get 16-24 Brazilians out of one 4LB Bag.

Can I use hard wax all over the entire body?
Yes you can!  It's a personal preference.

Which hard wax is best for full body waxing?
If you choose to use hard wax all over the body, the Pumpkin Pie would be the best choice as it spreads a bit thinner and allows you to do larger/longer strips.

Do I need to use powder before waxing?
Powder is to absorb moisture and oil, so you would use as needed. 

Why do you recommend Wonder Whip before waxing?
Wonder Whip helps to hydrate and protect the skin.  It's not greasy or oily and won't clog the pores.  It's great to use both pre and post wax. And to retail for home use.

My credit card isn't going through, why? 
9 times out of 10 it's because the billing address entered doesn't match the billing address of your credit card.  Check this information and try re-entering your order, or contact your credit card company to help solve the issue. 

Why do I have to agree to the terms and conditions to place my order?
Great question!  We just want to make sure that everyone is on the same page and totally understands the process.
